Our Art

We love art at The Barber Truck and we believe in supporting local artists and curators.

All around our truck you’ll find amazing art from a street art mural by ThankYouX to graphic prints from Lee Jeffries, as well as LA inspired prints from Society6 and our coffee table book library from Taschen books. We keep our art on rotation so stay tuned for the next wave!

SOCIETY6

Society6 hooked us up with some amazing LA inspired artwork. If any of the pieces inspire you too they’re available for purchase and a portion of the proceeds goes to the THEMENSGROOMER Foundation. Leave with an awesome haircut, cool art, and know you’re making a difference in the community.

THANKYOUX

ThankYouX first became well known on the streets of Los Angeles in 2009 for his large iconic Andy Warhol spray paint stencils. Signing “Thank You X” underneath in a gesture of anonymous gratitude for Warhol’s aesthetic of rebellious integrity, the name accidentally became the artist’s identity. Now using his street style in a more abstract way, he is widely known for his geometric mixed media cube paintings. Come check out his cube paintings on the facade of Barber Truck No. 1.

photographer, LEE JEFFRIES ON FRONT FACADe

Lee Jeffries lives in Manchester and constantly travels to major Western cities to meet people living in the streets, striving to capture their nobility. Formerly an accountant, he crossed paths with a young woman snuggled in her sleeping bag near Leicester Square in London. This encounter marked the start of his artistic and social approach: the homeless became his main subjects. The emotion is in the eyes, explains Lee, whose majestic black-and-white portraits enable him to collect funds to assist with the difficult living conditions of these isolated individuals.
